I just wanted to share this great short video called Saving Willie Mae’s Scotch House at You Tube. What a wondeful lady, and what a cook!
Here are some pics of her wonderful down home cooking, taken by Jason Perlow of Egullet and my new favorite food blog, Off The Broiler. The pictures were taken before her restaurant was destroyed by flooding from Hurricane Katrina. She’s in the process of rebuilding and is slated to reopen this summer.
