Went to New Orleans for a seminar and Jazz Fest. While there I went to this place for a drink and a muffaletta. Loved the sandwich so much that I went back two more times. If you go to New Orleans you really need to try this place.

I just returned yesterday from new orleans, my first trip. im thinking of moving and wanted to get a first hand look to dispel all the terrible things people are saying about the city .... loved loved it!! its coming back in a big way, lots of activity everyhwere.
I read this blog, so went to napoleon house as you recommend , had roast beef, pimms, red beans and muffaletta. Food was so good, we went back the following night for more pimms and roast chicken poboy and shrimp, avocado remoulade!!! the food is so good should be illegal. another great meal was at cochon! must try the fried chicken livers on pepper jelly toast, reminds me of chicken and waffles. too many places to eat not enough time. I cant wait to return!

I love their muffalettas, but their Pimm's Cup is easily the best in the city.

The next time y'all are in town, check out Parasol's - it's a dive, but the food is straightforward, unpretentious and strangely addictive.
